Buy4now has the capability to add new presentation layers while retaining all investment in the eCommerce infrastructure. This capability extends to both app development and mobile web.

The architecture for mobile web is similar but simpler. No Web Service API is required as the mobile web site runs on the same servers as the PC optimized site and has direct access to the functionality. The graphical design is consistent across both the PC and the mobile touch sites.

A dedicated and separate site is developed for mobile touch screens. This site is optimized for small screen and touch based interfaces. Combined with good design, this yields many of the benefits of apps without the complexity or cost.
